Where I don't have red, I use blue.”
- Pablo Picasso

“She’s the creative one,” is always how I was referred to. I've always had a deep affinity for getting my hands on something and breathing life into it, whether it be as simple as jewelry-making and knitting to painting murals. To me art was an escape from reality, but design was a confrontation of reality when recognizing your viewer’s response and accessibility before anything else. When I applied for graphic design, I was introduced to a new world where aesthetics met functionality and I now had to make “art” work. Rather than feeling constrained, I found joy in playing with these boundaries.
